What are Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)?
- VOCs are chemicals emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids. They may have short-term and long-term adverse health effects. Many of the products used in roofing systems, such as adhesives, sealants, primers, and coatings contain organic solvents.
WE CARE - That’s why we use the products we do.
- Solventless silicone - The VOC content is so low it already meets the most stringent environmental regulations in the country i.e. Southern California.
- Restoration Roofing and the Duro-Last system do not rely on the use of chemical emitting adhesives, sealants or primers. The only chemical used during installation is a tube of caulking.
